PARTICIPATION IN 2010 ANNUAL LAND SURVEYORS SEMINAR AND CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

TO ALL MEMBERS,

The 2010 Annual Land Surveyors Seminar for the Land Surveying Division (LSD) of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) is scheduled on 25th and 26th August, 2010 at the Mensvic Hotel, East Legon, Accra. The theme for the Seminar is: "NATIONAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM: A TOOL FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR A BETTER GHANA".

The Seminar which will also serve as a Continuing Professional Development is to expose and equip the Surveyor on current trends in surveying and mapping in terms of the present state of the art.

it is required as part of their professional development for each member to fully participate in this Seminar.

this year's Seminar will involve the participation of some International Companies, namely "TRIMBLE INCORPORATED" of  USA, "SOUTH-SOUTH EQUIPMENT"  of China, Optech LIDAR Technology and Geodetic Reference Network (GRN) Technology Consultant from MiDA.

The Annual Seminar Planning Committee is therefore writing to invite you to attend this Seminar.

The participation fee for each member is Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHø200.00) only and payment may be made into Standard Chartered Bank - Opeibea House Branch - Account No. 0100116418700 or at the GhIS Secretariat, Palma House, Adabraka, Accra
