Invitation to attend GhIS/VES Divisional Seminar 2009

The theme chosen is: The Emerging Property Market: Trends and Practice"

The Programme will be held from September 23 - 26, 2009 at GIMPA, Accra

As members are no doubt aware, the annual seminars are part of the Institution's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities for members on relevant topical issues for the advancement of the Profession of Surveying and its practice. This year it has been planned that as part of the programme, a Valuation Conference will be held. This conference will among others discuss the current trends in property valuation, practical challenges faced by Appraisers and the harmonization of vauation standards for property valuation.

the participation fee is One Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis (GH¢180.00).

Please note that the Seminar will start eith a cocktail ("Time with Senior Members")at Lunchcity on Wednesday 23rd September 2009 at 3.00p.m. This arrival cocktail is for all members of the Division.

We trust that all members of the Valaution and Estate Surveying Division and indeed the entire membership of the Institution will participate in all aspects of the programme so as to among others, improve upon their professional skills and competences.
